Marchwood Jubilee Fete – 7th July 2012
Lloyd Recreation Ground 12noon – 4.30pm
Marchwood Fete, revived in 2006, is organised by a committee of enthusiastic volunteers who recognise the need for a major fun event that brings the whole village together, promoting a real sense of community.
The Fete also provides a fantastic platform for local voluntary groups and businesses to promote themselves and a great opportunity for local organisations to raise much needed funds.
Last years fete with its “Olde Country Fayre” theme was a fantastic afternoon with great weather and a great turnout from the local community and beyond. Many thanks to all who helped make it such a success including the much needed support from our sponsors
 At present the committee are busy planning a programme for the Marchwood Jubilee Fete including a good selection of local talent as well as professional entertainment along with stalls, children’s entertainment, the barbecue and beer tent and many other attractions.
This year we are trying something different and we are planning a talent competition for the local groups & schools to show off their talent. If there is anyone in the community who can support us with equipment or any volunteers with skills and experience in the field of entertainment please contact us.
